Terms of Service
I take great pride in the level of service that I provide all of my couples. When you book your wedding services with me, not only will you enjoy a personalized wedding experience, but you also will benefit from the expertise of a professional.
These are the terms of service that you should be aware of when you book your ceremony with Weddings by Aretha:
Payment Policy
Full payment for your wedding ceremony is required at the time of booking. Your date/time is not reserved until full payment is received.

Cancellations
There is a no-cancellation policy in place for couples who book a Weddings by Aretha. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations, regardless of when the cancellation is made. This strict policy is in place due to the in-demand nature of the wedding business.
Once a date and time has been reserved, Weddings by Aretha can no longer accept bookings on that date and may have to turn clients away. It is important to be aware of this commitment when booking Weddings by Aretha as your wedding officiant or marriage celebrant.
Your Marriage License
If you have not booked my services, DO NOT use my name or my business name at the Registrar’s office to obtain your Marriage License.
Date, Time or Location Changes
Requests for date, time or location changes must be made in writing and will only be fulfilled based on Aretha’s availability.
At the time of booking, Aretha begins building a schedule based on the date, time and location for your wedding. All schedules are strictly adhered to, and as such, it can be difficult to accommodate date, time or location changes.
In the event that the change in date, time or location can be accommodated, a $100 fee will apply.
Ceremony Start Time
If your wedding ceremony is delayed by more than 30 minutes past its scheduled start time, a $50 per half hour fee will apply.
Refunds will not be given in the event that a significant delay prohibits Aretha from being able to perform the ceremony.
Image Release
Couples who book with Weddings by Aretha agree to an image release, which allows Weddings By Aretha to use images, videos and stories from the event for promotional purposes. The couple waives any right to royalties, payments or considerations for use of the images.
Governing Law
The validity and enforceability of all Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
